My Everything

These two nuggets are my world...my everything.  I can't imagine my life without them.  I am so blessed and incredibly lucky to have been chosen to be their momma.  They may drive me nuts to the brink of insanity at times but I wouldn't change a thing.

My handsome son...took this as he was walking towards me.  Damn, when did he grow up?

My precious daughter...its no secret I was absolutely terrified of having a girl but I am so very glad God decided otherwise.  Girl days are so much fun.

Can you tell what a proud momma I am? I have been told you can see how happy I am with my children.  I believe it.  They can always make me smile and make a bad day go away.  Its magic.

Yep, I am one blessed momma.  Love these babies more than anything...even an ice cold Dr. Pepper on the rocks, with a straw, slightly stirred...and if it has Sonic or Bucees ice, even better!

Y'all have a good one!

It's Friday!!!

I am so very happy it's Friday. This week has been a stinker (especially yesterday) and I'm glad it's my day off! I'm going to spend it with my favorite 5 year old doing fun girl stuff like shopping! We might even try to get a pedicure in there somewhere.  We're headed to my cousin's house tomorrow to celebrate Easter with my mom's side of the family so Bella and I will be picking up stuff for that as well today. I can't wait to see everyone. It's going to be a fun day!

I better finish up my coffee and get moving so us girls can have some fun!!

Y'all have a good one!

Fishing Is In The Air

Sweetness right here...

I  asked Chris if he was happy to be throwing a line out again, his response was I guess and added that it would be much better if he could catch something.  No bait.  Poor kid.  It is warming up so I expect he'll be doing a lot more fishing at Pop's house.  Honey will probably take him fishing as well.  Chris will love that.

Y'all have a great weekend!

Sibling & Cousin Love

Helping out friends and neighbors is always a blessing.  The guys were cooking at a benefit this weekend.  Tony asked if I could come out and help serve plates.  I obliged.  Whenever I have both my brothers in one place I must always try to take pictures.  Cindy wasn't able to join us as she was shuffling her softball girls from house to house helping others in need around their home and/or place of business.  Pretty cool deal.

Siblings...always full of love.  Most of the time :)

Sister, where are you?  We finally got Bryan in a picture smiling!!

Cousins are a beautiful thing...

Making It Work

Relationships are hard work.  Especially long distance relationships.  Kudos to every military family out there and anyone else who is in a long distance relationship.  Honey and I are a mere two hours away from each other but it has been a struggle and more times than not, the source of the arguments between us.  I hate arguing.  Hate it.  Two hours is nothing when you have families oceans and continents apart from each other but when you are both working single parents, the plot most definitely thickens. I want our relationship to work. He and the boys are worth the fight.  I'm too far gone and love him too dang much to walk away now.  It scares me sometimes how in love I am with this man because the reality is, it has been a very short amount of time.  However, at our age (especially mine since he is the young one here) I think you know what you want and don't want in a relationship and also know a lot sooner if a person is right for you and your babies.

When we are together, there is something magical about us and it is a beautiful thing.  I waited a very long time for this man and I'm not about to run away because it gets difficult at times.  Name me one relationship that doesn't?  Friendships included.  It all takes work, constant communication and willing participants wanting to work at it.  Thankfully honey is willing to fight just as hard as I am.  We may butt heads but we always talk it out.

With all that said....I am missing him like crazy and can't wait to see his handsome face again.

Toot Marie

This post is dedicated to my favorite 5 year old and the one who spends the most time with me, attached at my hip.  I most definitely think that when the time comes and she is surgically removed from my hip, it will be traumatic for us both.  I'm kidding of course about being surgically removed but it kind of feels that way from time to time.  I know she will not always want to be right next to me so I will always enjoy my time with her.

At the orthodontist waiting on brother.  Lipgloss is a must!!

Me and my girl....

I absolutely LOVE it when I get my phone back and discover that my little Toot Marie has been taking selfies.  Makes me smile!

Sleeping beauty....

Heading out to the graduation party for Paul, J.R. and Mary Beth!!

Snuggle bunny in my bed.  It is quite comfy.

Little mommy with her babies...

That is my arm in the lower right.  No kidding when I say she's attached.  I love watching cartoons with her on the weekends.
