Broken

My heart is sad and broken. The Scott and Missy chapter is over. If I'm being really honest, it has been over for a long time but I couldn't let go without knowing I had done everything I could to make us work.  I ended it last Thursday but he put his stamp on it today in true Scott fashion. I know this is for the best and that I deserve so much more. This will take some time. I loved this man very much. I put so much into this relationship because I thought this was the one.

I am going to move forward and concentrate on me and my children. I have a few things coming up to look forward to so that will help. 

Another lesson learned. 

Graduation Day

Its graduation day for my nephew Paul.  He's completed his A School in Petaluma, California.  Next stop will be Kodiak, Alaska.  I'm going to be saving my pennies because I really want to pay him a visit in Alaska.  Anyway, in honor of my nephew and his graduation, I'm wearing my USCG shirt today.  Super proud aunt over here :)

The week before school started Bella was in a 3-day mini cheer camp at the high school.  The last part of the camp was performing Two Bits before the first home football game last Friday.  I thought it was pretty cool because the game was against our biggest rival-Brazoswood.  However...after 6 years, we lost to our rival in the last 4 seconds of the game with a field goal.  Ugh.  Don't even want to think about it really so I will share my pictures of the cutest 6 year old cheerleader I know in Angleton.

She really did good this year. You almost can't see her from where we were standing. This was the best her dad could get with his camera.  Our angle was bad.  She was behind the cheerleader in all of the pictures I took.  

That was her waving for me to come get her after they were done.

By the way...today is the 2nd day of September so guess what that means?1?  It means today is my brother's birthday!!  He turns a very young 51 today.  We're all getting together this evening for a birthday dinner at Giovanni's which will be so fun and so delicious.

September Is Finally Here

Hello September....

Its so good to see you again.  I've missed you.  You are the first of the "ber" months, and the start of my favorite time of year.  You are the month my home begins its transformation from summer to fall and pumpkins begin popping up everywhere.  I have a few new things to add to my decor this year that I'm really excited about.  I do hope you surprise me with something wonderful, like an extra early start to the cooler temps.  That would be amazing.  I also have some new layering outfits I have pieced together just waiting for their debut.  Don't be shy now, bring on the pretty fall colors and cooler temps!
